How Can Eczema Be Prevented?

Although there is no treatment for eczema, there are certain things you can do to reduce your risk and avoid flare-ups.

If you have a family history of eczema, it’s recommended to nurse your infant exclusively for the first three months of life, or longer if feasible.

Breast milk should be continued for at least six months (ideally one year) after your infant is introduced to solid foods, according to doctors. Pet hair, mites, and mould are all potential allergies that should be avoided by babies.

If you have eczema, try to stay as stress-free as possible and take time to relax.

Exercise regularly. It can aid with stress management and circulation.
