Chemical Eye Burns

Symptoms Include:
Stinging | Burning | Redness | Pain | Swelling | Blurry vision | Watery eyes

 

When a solid, liquid, or vaporous chemical comes into contact with the eye, it can cause chemical eye burns.

Black eye

Symptoms Include:
Bruising  |  Swelling

 

A black eye is bruising and swelling around the eye that is typically produced by a blow to the area, such as a punch or a fall. Within two to three weeks, it should improve.

Eye Trauma

Symptoms Include:
Pain | Blurred vision | Blood | Dry eye | Watery eye

 

Damage to the eye produced by a direct hit is referred to as ocular trauma. Not just the eye, but also the surrounding area, including neighbouring tissue and bone structure, may be affected by the damage.

Foreign Objects / Eye Irritants

A foreign object is anything that comes into contact with the eye, such as dust, grit, or any other substance. Most of the time, we don’t notice these items because they’re so minute – and if they do get into our eyes, they’re harmless and quickly removed.
