Dr Sinclair first came up with the idea for Dr Finlay’s Private Practice an integrated clinic while he was still a medical student, studying medicine and surgery at the University of Leeds before completing his general practice residency there. In 2007, he became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

In 2009, he established Sinclair Health Limited as a cutting-edge health consultant with the goal of enhancing access to healthcare for underserved populations, such as working-age men. He created the Integrated Health Pyramid at this time as a visual model to assist patients in understanding how all spheres of health, life, and spirituality can be maintained in a state of interconnected equilibrium and where to turn for help with health issues.
